Senior dues are $300 and a minimum of $150 needs to be paid in order to register. The remaining $150 needs to be paid before your first game. If you have credits due to extra fundraising, you'll pay the $150 first, then the difference minus your credits. If you don't know how many credits you have, email Vince Fowler to confirm. You're credits can only be applied to 2008 dues and club merchandise.
Junior members! Hey, we love ya and we can't wait to meet you and continue your development in this great game. Junior registraion will be on February 23 & 24. If you have missed these dates, don't worry, contact our Junior VP Ron LeBlanc and he'll get you signed up.
Attention to all senior members who did not complete their three fundraising commitments - $33 per fundraiser that you did not do will be applied to your 2008 dues.
Any player who has moved away from Calgary and intends to register with another club - please email Vince Fowler for a player transfer letter.

Rams 2007 AGM Feedback The Rams AGM was held at the Calgary Rugby Union (CRU) on Saturday February 2nd, 2008 from 11:00am to a record breaking 4:30pm. As you can imagine there was a lot to discuss.
The Sr. Women's Program is full steam ahead with the announcement that Rick Melia will be their new Head Coach. Rick comes to the club with a vast history in rugby, both as a player and as a coach. The Club welcomes Rick to the fold and the senior women are already looking forward to the season.
The Club also has some new members on the Executive; President: Vince Fowler - re-elected VP Men: Tom Calvert - elected VP Women: Kyla McGillis - elected VP Juniors: Ron LeBlanc - re-elected Treasurer: Steve Reisig - re-elected Secretary: Vacant The new executive has already been tasked by the membership with a number of objectives; all program VP's are to create a budget for the 2008 season (this will assist the Executive in committing to the necessary fundraising for the year); Review our internal options for an independent Stampede 7's website (we have until Feb 16 to complete this task); Preparing quarterly finance reports; Update and ratify the Club's By-Laws (currently a 29 year old document). These are the immediate objectives of the new Executive.
That said, if you have any comments or suggestions about the future direction of the club, please direct them to the Executive as they are the ones you have entrusted to make change. You’ll find their contacts at the following link; Menu/About Us/Club Executive & Contacts
Looking forward to a great season.
Support our Troops I'm sure everyone is aware that Canada has combat soldiers currently serving in Afghanistan. What you may not know is that four of our club teammates have spent the better part of last year preparing for their own tour of duty in the war torn country - two are already there and two more will be deparing in February 2008. Understand, all four of these men and women volunteered to do this. It's because of this kind of character that each and every one of them display, not to mention all the other Canadians accross this country who have done the same, that we have posted their stories and added another page on our menu.

Calgary Rugby Loses a Founding Member and a True Gentleman Hi All, on April 5th, our rugby stalwart, Frank Wright, passed away from the effects of a massive heart attack. He was 88. Frank was one of the originals who founded rugby in Calgary. He was also a founding member of the Calgary Rams Rugby Club.
He was a classy and friendly gentleman, who was dedicated to the advancement of Rugby not only in Calgary, but Alberta. His health had faltered in the past few years but his love for the game never waned; we could all take a lesson from Frank. I know he will be dearly missed by all rugby enthusiasts. ...more
